Znětínek: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Chapel of St. Joseph stands in the village square in Znětínek. It has a small tower and colorful stained-glass windows and is listed in a regional register of religious buildings and heritage-protected sites for Znětínek.

Culture

A mass is regularly celebrated in the Chapel of St. Joseph on 19 March for the Feast of Saint Joseph. On the third Sunday in September, a pilgrimage mass is held there to commemorate the blessing of the image of the Holy Family. The Masopust carnival is held annually in Znětínek and is part of the local folk traditions.

Landscape

Tourmalines, smoky quartz and other semiprecious stones have been found in the vicinity of Znětínek; one of the smoky quartz specimens even made its way to the Imperial Court Museum in Vienna. The mountains of Dědkovská hora, Blažkov, Rosička and Kopeček are located around Znětínek.

The Smetanovy sady park is located in the wider regional surroundings of Znětínek. The Bohdalovsko Nature Park showcases protected natural features; the park is particularly known for its large number of ponds and the presence of protected plants and animals.

The NS Přírodním parkem Bohdalovsko route is designed for a one-day recreational cycling trip and passes through Znětínek. It is 33.7 km long and has six stops.
