Daňkovice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Daňkovice lies at the southeastern foot of the 813-metre-high Buchtův kopec in the Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area. The mountains Devět Skal, Librův Kopec, Žákova hora and Na jedli are located in the vicinity of Daňkovice.

Hiking

Buchtův kopec is situated on a red-marked hiking trail between Sněžné and Daňkovice. The “Kolem Buchtova kopce” hiking route runs from Daňkovice via Sněžné and Krásné back to Daňkovice. The “Přes Buchtův kopec” hike also begins in Daňkovice and leads up to Buchtův kopec.

Culture and Architecture

The Tolerance Church in Daňkovice is one of the few surviving monuments from the Tolerance Era. It has no tower or bells; its entrance from the fields has been preserved.

The folk farmhouse at Daňkovice 41 is a valuable example of regional folk architecture; it is a wooden building on a high masonry base. The folk farmhouse at Daňkovice 47 is a typical rural building with its gable facing the village green; a bread oven and a tiled stove have been preserved in the living room.
