Sazomín: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

A closer look at Sazomín reveals several specific local monuments. The Statue of Christ is listed as a cultural monument and is located in the barn of Farmhouse No. 1; its registration number is 23151/7-4509. In the center stands the Chapel on a long village green. Its tall, slender bell tower dates from the second half of the 19th century; the chapel was repaired in 1925 and again in 2013.

Culture and Trails

Kavka is a municipal symbol of Sazomín and stands beside the children's playground in the center. The sculpture was ceremonially unveiled on June 24, 2017, as part of the celebrations marking the 700th anniversary of the municipality's first written mention. A roughly 20-kilometer hike to Baroque monuments starts in Ostrov nad Oslavou and leads via a short detour to Sazomín, to the concrete figure of Kavka at the children's playground.

The Oslava

The Oslava 8 fishing district is 16.1 kilometers long and covers 5.7 hectares. It extends as far as the weir at the road bridge in Sazomín. The section of the Oslava above the weir in Sazomín up to the road bridge in Nové Veselí is a nursery section; fishing is prohibited there.

Mountain Landscape

The mountains of Rosička, Dědkovská hora, and Blažkov are located in the surroundings of Sazomín. The mountain of Světka lies farther away in the wider region.
