Putimov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The historic settlement layout of Putimov is a so-called “okrouhlice”, with the village square at its centre. The oldest part of Putimov consisted of approximately 13 farmsteads around the village square.

History and Culture

The Chapel of the Holy Trinity was built on Putimov’s village square in 1830. It was repaired in 2002–2003 and ceremonially consecrated on 28 September 2003. The film “Smuteční slavnost” was shot in Putimov in 1969.

Local Life and Leisure

The Putimovská lávka takes place every year on the last Saturday in July. A Masopust carnival procession takes place through Putimov every year. Christmas carols are sung at the chapel in Putimov every year. Putimov has an outdoor swimming pool that has been renovated.

Getting Around

The cycle tour from Pelhřimov to Křemešník follows forest and field paths as well as paved sections. The “Pelhřimovský prstýnek” circular route leads through forests, across fields and through villages.
