Zajíčkov lies in the valley of the Podlesník stream. On the edge of Zajíčkov lies Kosův kámen, a named rock formation on the side visible from Pelhřimov.

Routes

The Křemešník Circle leads from Zajíčkov along a farm track to the forests, across a stream crossing and through meadows onward to Pavlov. On a marked hiking trail, Zajíčkov railway station can be reached from the route near Radňov via the yellow trail marking as a 1 km shortcut.

On the Křemešnický Circuit II cycle path, the route branches off at the first house in Zajíčkov onto a farm track in the direction of the forest.

In the water mill No. 7 in Zajíčkov, a shingle machine, a chaff cutter and a threshing machine are recorded in an entry dated 10 February 1902.

History

Until 1592, Zajíčkov was initially part of the Červená Řečice estate. After its division, the village successively belonged to the Nová Cerekev and Nová Buková estates and finally passed to Pelhřimov in 1592.
