Bystrá: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Bystrá is located in the Křemešnická vrchovina, which forms the western part of the Českomoravská vrchovina. The area consists of extensive upland plateaus with several elevations. In the surroundings of Bystrá, smaller settlements are surrounded by a mosaic landscape of fields, meadows and wooded areas.

History and Building Culture

Bystrá is a historic settlement; the first written mention dates from 1226. Most of the built-up area has preserved its historic settlement structure and rural character. Traditional buildings feature elongated floor plans, smooth lime-plastered façades and gable roofs with a roof pitch of approximately 40 %.

In the eastern part of the settlement, original agricultural farmsteads in particular have been preserved. At the eastern edge of the settlement is farmstead No. 10, which is designated as a monument of local significance.

Cycling and Hiking Trails

Hiking and cycling trails pass through the Bystrá area. The marked cycle route 161 connects Načeradec and Bystrá and serves as a regional connection. Cycle route 5211 connects Kletečná and Bystrá as a local connection. The Pípalka na Křemešníku cycle route also leads to a turn-off into the village of Bystrá.

The landscape around Bystrá contains field and forest paths that are predominantly unpaved.

Orientation

Access from Bystrá into the surrounding countryside is relatively good, especially from the east. Regular bus services operate through the municipality of Bystrá.
