Olší: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Olší is located on the edge of the Svratecká hornatina Nature Park. The village is home to the Church of St. George, a state-protected cultural monument. Its core dates back to the 15th century, and its prismatic tower has retained its fortress-like character.

Culture and local history

The settlement of Rakové is home to a marble cross dating from 1870. An annual pilgrimage takes place at the Chapel of St. Anne in Rakové.

Road II/385 runs through the Litava district of the municipality of Olší. The former Baroque inn, which is a protected cultural monument, stands there. It has preserved its original layout from 1734 and acquired its present appearance in 1929.

In Klokočí, the chapel replaced a wooden bell tower in 1894. A monument to four fallen soldiers of the First World War stands in a park next to the chapel. The memorial plaques for T. G. Masaryk and E. Beneš beside the chapel in Klokočí were hidden during the war and unveiled again in 1968.

Designated routes

Two tourist routes have been designated in the Pernštejn microregion. The Doubravník–Bozinka–Maňová–Litava–Olší–Sejřek–Doubravník route runs as a designated trail through these places. The Olší–Košíkov–along the Loučka–Šafránkův Mlýn–Trenckova rokle–Drahonín–Olší Mine Shaft–Hájenka–Bor–Sejřek–Olší tourist circular route is also designated.
