Nature and Landscape

Díly u Lhotky was first designated a nature monument on 25 July 1985. The protected area preserves significant meadow communities and meandering waterways with protected plant and animal species. With its peat meadows and endangered plant and animal species, Díly u Lhotky lies approximately 1.5 km southeast of Lhotka.

The main European watershed runs approximately 1 km northeast of Lhotka.

History and Culture

Lhotka's history dates back to 1407: the village was founded through the colonization activities of the Cistercian monastery of Žďár. Historically, Lhotka was also an important economic center and had a widely known mill.

Charcoal burning was part of the inhabitants' former working life. Historically, the residents of Lhotka worked as charcoal burners and produced charcoal in charcoal piles.

Routes through Lhotka

The “Žďárskými vrchy – 49 km” mountain bike route leads through the forest to Lhotka, where it connects to the EuroVelo EV4 route. The Cyrilometodějská Trail also passes through the village, ascending through Lhotka to Harusův kopec.

The Radňovický Circuit is connected to routes in the direction of Lhotka and to the cross-country ski trails in the vicinity of Žďár nad Sázavou.

Sports

The Sportovní hřiště sports field in Lhotka can be used by visitors from outside the area for a fee for tennis, nohejbal, football, and volleyball.
