Klokocov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Klokočov lies on the ridge of the Železné hory above the Chrudimka valley. The Klokočov lime tree is a state-protected memorial tree in Klokočov and is described as one of the oldest living trees in Bohemia.

Paths along the Chrudimka

On the section towards the Mladiny trail junction, the “Walk around the Surroundings” trail follows a yellow-marked hiking route. From the Mladiny trail junction, the Na Pilce rock formations can be reached via a blue-marked section of the trail; after approximately 200 metres, you will reach the hiking destination.

Na Pilce is a recreational property below Klokočov on the Chrudimka. It is situated in a wooded valley near the Seč Reservoir; Na Pilce also includes a mill wheel.

Culture and History

Church services are held every Sunday in summer in the evangelical church building in Klokočov. The Chapel of St John is a small church building with an apse and a turret, probably dating from around the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Zámeček Klokočov was built in 1789 by Jan Karel Schönowetz of Ungarswert. The entire Zámeček Klokočov property can be rented.
