Culture
Budíkov is home to the Neo-Romanesque Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, built in 1863. It was extensively reconstructed in 2002.
Trails
The marked G. Mahler Trail runs along the northern edge of the Budíkov area from Řečice via Pusté Lhotsko towards Proseč. Cycle Route 1214 runs along road III/34771 through Budíkov and Malý Budíkov.
Landscape
Budíkov is located in the Křemešnická vrchovina highlands within the Českomoravská vrchovina. Budíkov's largest forest areas are situated in the northern and western parts of the municipality's territory around Pusté Lhotsko. The Pstružný stream flows northwards along the eastern boundary of the municipality's territory.
Local Life
The TJ ROVNOST-Budíkov football club was founded in 1963. In July, the athletes in Budíkov organise the pilgrimage tournament “Memoriál pana Žáčka, Haláka a Soukupa”. In the centre of Budíkov, there is a public green area with landscaped park features, as well as a recreational area with benches and a children's corner.
Connections
Road III/34771 provides Budíkov with a transport connection to the town of Humpolec, approximately 5 km away. Road III/34772 and a network of paved local roads connect Budíkov with Čejov, Řečice and Dolní Město.
