In the northeastern part of the cadastral area of Svépravice, the Haruďák pond lies on a tributary of the Želivka. The Želivka River also forms part of the southeastern boundary of the cadastral area. In the vicinity of the Sedlice Reservoir, the surrounding forests invite visitors to go for walks and offer good opportunities for mushroom picking.

Culture and History

The rural estate at No. 14 in Svépravice is an immovable cultural monument; its registration number is 35273/3-3299. The former school building in the center of Svépravice is of historical and architectural value. In the eastern part of the cadastral area, there is also the Břečovy forester’s lodge, which is likewise of historical and architectural value.

The chapel in Svépravice was built in 1937 after the older chapel had been demolished during the construction of a road. It was consecrated on July 5, 1937.

Fishing and Cycling Route

The “Želivka 6 – nádrž Sedlice” fishing district covers the section of the Hejlovka from its inflow into the Sedlice Reservoir to the weir near the Břečovský Mill in the cadastral area of Svépravice. The “Z Pelhřimova za chloubou židovské kultury” cycling route also passes through Svépravice; along the way, it follows the valley of the Hejlovka stream at some distance.
