Lovečkovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

A former railway station building that was saved from demolition provides a special setting for the Lovečkovice Mini-Museum. The building was renovated by the municipality of Lovečkovice together with the Zubrnická Museum Railway.

Culture

The Lovečkovice Mini-Museum features an exhibition of the Zubrnická Museum Railway. Visitors can also ride a historic railway draisine on the grounds of the mini-museum.

The local Velké Březno–Lovečkovice–Verneřice/Úštěk railway line was ceremonially opened on 18 August 1890. The Velké Březno–Zubrnice–Lovečkovice section was registered as an immovable cultural monument in 1998.

Hiking

The Uhelná Trail begins at the Lovečkovice Mini-Museum, is almost 4.5 kilometres long and is marked with a yellow tourist trail marker. It has eight stations providing information about local history and coal mining.

Nature

The extensive České středohoří Protected Landscape Area is located within the municipality of Lovečkovice.

Above the municipality of Náčkovice stands Víťova vyhlídka, built in 2003. Víťova vyhlídka is 21 metres high and stands at an altitude of 616 metres; its viewing platform is at a height of 8.5 metres. From there, the view extends towards Teplice, Ústí nad Labem, Roudnice, Štětí, Mělník and Doksy, as well as as far as Ještěd.

Several marked hiking trails lead from Lovečkovice to Sedlo. Its summit area is protected as a national nature reserve and features rare flora.

Architectural Heritage

Chalupa No. 17 in Lovečkovice is a traditional timber building bearing the year 1818. In Lovečkovice, it is listed as an immovable cultural monument. The complex of house No. 74, including the house, stables and plot, is protected as a cultural monument.

House No. e. 46 is a valuable and authentically preserved example of a two-storey timber house from the first half of the 19th century. The through-passage barn made of smoothly plastered brick masonry with pillars is a valuable example of traditional architecture.
