Louka U Litvínova: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Chapel of Saint Anthony of Padua stands in Louka u Litvínova. It was built in 1834 and has been protected as a cultural monument since 2007.

Culture and History

Mourners and tourists regularly gather at the monument to the victims of the disaster at the Pluto II mine in Louka u Litvínova. The birthplace of Ivan Hlinka is marked with a commemorative plaque. Louka u Litvínova is also home to a replica of Kost Castle, which is maintained by private individuals.

The Memoriál Pluto is a commemorative march from the monument to the fallen miners in Litvínov to the monument in Louka u Litvínova. There are hiking routes ranging from 5 to 22 kilometres and cycling routes ranging from 20 to 60 kilometres.

On the cycling loop to the mining monuments, the route reaches the monument to the victims of the disaster at the Pluto II mine next to the municipal office at kilometre 30.5.

The multifunctional sports field in Louka u Litvínova is available to the general public of all age groups for active recreation, particularly ball sports. Use is subject to agreement with the facility administration.
