Radslavice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Hradisko Zelená Hora archaeological site is located in the cadastral area of Radslavice. The 1.1-hectare prehistoric hillfort site lies above the Pustiměřský potok stream and is fortified by a rampart and ditch. A stone castle was built there in the mid-13th century and was probably abandoned as early as the 14th century. Archaeological finds at the site of Radslavice also point to a settlement dating from the Bronze Age.

History and Culture

Radslavice’s historic local features include a bell tower in one of the village’s districts. The cultural centre has 150 seats and is used for balls, dance events and carnival celebrations.

Nature and Trails

The surrounding countryside of Radslavice is suitable for walks in every season. The village is surrounded by extensive forest complexes belonging to the military area. A signposted local cycle route runs along the southeastern edge of Radslavice, leading from Vyškov to a reservoir and Plumlov Castle. Radslavice is connected by road to Vyškov and Pustiměř.

Village Life

Community life includes a horror trail organised by the “Matky Radslavice” group. District competitions for the mayor’s travelling trophy were held annually at the local sports field; a night-time firefighting attack competition was also held there.
