After a moderate ascent of approximately twenty minutes from Nevojice, you reach the Ždánický Forest. The forest, predominantly characterized by deciduous trees, has a network of paved forest roads suitable for cycling tourism, as well as carefully marked hiking trails.

Nature

The “Nevojice Wetland and Water Pools” project created a new aquatic and wetland biotope for a great diversity of organisms and adapted the wetland for occasional, small-scale recreation. A gravel-and-grass path exclusively intended for pedestrians at the wetland provides access to the recreational area and the footbridge; stairs also lead from the path to an observation point.

The project also created new tourist infrastructure to support cycling tourism on the EuroVelo4 route in the direction of Bučovice–Nevojice.

In Nevojice, the tradition of “Klepání” during the week before Easter is still alive. The tradition of “Mrskut” on Easter Monday also continues. The parish church in Nevojice was declared a cultural monument on November 12, 1998.
