Nížkovice lies at the foot of the Dambořická vrchovina highlands in a flat valley basin, while the southern part of its cadastral territory extends into the Ždánický les Nature Park.

Culture

The parish church “Farní kostel sv. Kunhuty” was built in 1727–1728. Its organ is a Baroque instrument created in 1846 by František Svítil from Nové Město na Moravě. The statue of Saint John of Nepomuk stands in the village square of Nížkovice; it is listed in the Central List of Immovable Cultural Monuments.

A natural swimming area is located in Nížkovice above a pond on the Nížkovický potok stream. The marked cycle route 5099 runs through Lovčičky, Kobeřice u Brna, Nížkovice and Heršpice. Nížkovice is connected to the IDS JMK integrated transport system and has four bus stops.
