Nasedlovice: Holiday Apartments and Houses

Násedlovice combines unusual church architecture with winegrowing, regional history, and vibrant traditions. The Church of Saint Martin and Saints Cyril and Methodius is an unusual purist building, constructed in 1927–1928 based on a design by architect Antonín Mendl.

Culture and History

The first precisely established date in the history of Násedlovice is 1327. That year, the Cistercian nuns exchanged Násedlovice for Stanoviště near Tišnov.

Wine and Landscape

Násedlovice lies on the western edge of the Kyjovská pahorkatina hills. The Kyjov wine trail for cyclists and hikers runs through the village. The wine landscape also includes the Nová hora vineyard site in Násedlovice, located on a southeast-facing slope. The soils of this vineyard site consist of modal chernozem formed on thick layers of windblown loess and sand with a higher lime content.

Museum and Historic Places

The Násedlovice Museum and Gallery house a permanent exhibition of a rural living room, as well as a collection of historic costume components. Visitors can access the museum during the municipal office's opening hours or by prior arrangement.

The Sýpka in Násedlovice is a former manorial granary belonging to the Lichtenštejn estate. The Sýpka houses various historic machines and tools. It is open upon request.

Festivals and Traditions

The Ostatky in Násedlovice include a procession and a masquerade ball and always take place at the beginning of March. Harvest festivals, known as Dožínky, take place in August. Násedlovice also hosts the Martinské krojované hody festival.
