Hostěrádky-Rešov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Hostěrádky-Rešov can be discovered through small, specific features of the village: the centre is marked by a Boží muka wayside shrine, and Vinařství Vykoukal is located there as well. Standing among residential buildings, the prism-shaped masonry wayside shrine is a valuable historical example of small-scale sacred architecture dating from around the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. As a masonry wayside shrine, the Boží muka also stands on the main road in the municipality.

Culture and Village Character

The village’s history includes the original Rešov bell tower, which was probably built in the second half of the 18th century. A comprehensive reconstruction in 1999 gave it its present appearance, including landscaping with a fountain.

As part of Ostatky, Hostěrádky-Rešov holds a costumed procession on the last Saturday before Lent. Babské hody takes place in Hostěrádky-Rešov in April; Václavské hody was scheduled for 24–26 September 2026.

History in the Surrounding Area

From Hostěrádky-Rešov, Mohyla Míru can be reached on foot in less than half an hour. The monument to the Battle of Austerlitz is also the burial place of many of those who fell in the battle.

Wine and Events

The vineyards of Vinařství Vykoukal are located in the cadastral areas of Hostěrádky-Rešov and Újezd u Brna, along the Stará hora line. The 38th wine exhibition, “O víně – při víně”, was scheduled for 10 April 2026 in the hall of the cultural centre in Hostěrádky-Rešov.
