Nemojany lies at the foot of the Drahanská vrchovina highlands in the valley of the Rakovec stream. Today, the village is a starting point for walks and hikes in the Rakovecké údolí nature park.

Cycle Route 5071 passes through Nemojany and is 32 kilometres long. Below the church on the hill is a viewpoint that faces mainly south.
In the immediate vicinity of Nemojany are Luleč Hill and Nad Skálou Hill near Luleč. Mount Urban is located in the surrounding area of Nemojany, while Mount Stádla lies in the wider region. Sport fishing is associated with Chobot Pond.
Culture and History
The Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk in Nemojany dates from 1855. A wayside shrine stands by the former imperial road in Nemojany.
The Boží muka wayside shrine is a significant example of small-scale sacred architecture in the landscape of Nemojany. The historicist structure was built around the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries or at the beginning of the 19th century, and stands outside the built-up area on the road to Brno. After being exemplary restored in 2022, Boží muka won second place in 2023 in the Jihomoravský kraj competition for the best-restored cultural monument of 2022 in the Small Structures category.
The historic Chobot mill in Nemojany was powered by water. The historic Chobot mill estate included a 3.24-hectare pond.
Geographical Location
The Brno–Přerov railway line runs along the edge of Nemojany. In the wider region around Nemojany are the Hrádek ruins, the Kuchlov ruins, Brno Zoo and the Pomník obětem 1. světové války monument.
