Nature and Landscape

The Radějov Game Reserve covers 1,565 hectares and was established in 1989 for the breeding of fallow deer. The Kútky Nature Reserve protects meadow communities of the White Carpathians at the end of the valley of the Mandát stream. Kútky also preserves numerous protected and endangered plant and animal species.

Exploring the Area

The Oskerušová nature trail has two circular routes, 3 km and 7 km long. The Holý vrch viewpoint near Radějov is one of the stops on the Oskorušová Trail.

The Šumárnická nature trail runs through Radějov and has 18 information boards. It is intended for hikers and mountain bikers.

The Bukovina nature trail circuit can, for example, begin in the centre of Radějov. It leads from Radějov to the entrance of the Pusté fallow deer enclosure and through the Kútky Nature Reserve.
