Drahonín: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Houses
Drahonín lies in the hilly landscape of the Vysočina region. Trenckova Gorge is a short, very steep ravine in which a small stream forms waterfalls and cascades.
Nature
The Trenckova Gorge protected area encompasses the cadastral territories of Drahonín and Víckov. Trenckova Gorge is designated as a natural monument; the protected feature of the natural monument includes green shield-moss (Buxbaumia viridis). Fixed ropes have been installed in the exposed sections of Trenckova Gorge around the cascades and waterfalls.
Hiking and History
According to tradition, the famous Pandur Baron Trenck hid in Trenckova Gorge from the soldiers of Empress Maria Theresa. The Drahonín–Šafránkův mlýn–Tišnov route leads from Drahonín via Šafránkův mlýn down into the valley of the Loučka River, where it joins the red hiking trail towards Tišnov.
A green-marked hiking route to the ruins of Košíkov Castle begins in Drahonín. In the vicinity of Drahonín, the remains of the castle include the walls of a powerful prismatic tower as well as traces of the walls and the outer bailey. The Šafránkova hunting lodge, built in 1939 and designed by Bohuslav Fuchs, also stands in the vicinity of Drahonín. The historic Šafránkův mlýn, dating from 1666, stands in the valley of the Loučka River.
Culture and Local Life
Festive services are held in the Chapel of Christ the King in Drahonín, which was consecrated in 1935. A gathering of accordion players takes place every year at the summer open-air venue in Drahonín.
Swimming
Koupaliště Drahonín outdoor swimming pool is located in the lower part of Drahonín next to the sports complex. It has a children's paddling pool and a 25 × 12 metre pool with regularly cleaned and chemically treated water. The outdoor pool also offers grassy sunbathing areas, a diving tower, a snack stand and sanitary facilities.

Drahonín is integrated into the Integrated Transport System of the South Moravian Region (IDS JMK).
