The red-marked hiking trail “K pohádce máje” leads from the Bílý potok valley through Domašov, Říčany u Brna and Ostrovačice to the Brno Reservoir and runs through Domašov between the Bílý potok valley and the Svratka Valley.

Trails

The blue-marked hiking trail begins in Domašov and leads to Oslavany through the Chroustovské Valley, Zastávka u Brna, Babice and Zbýšov. It passes through the northern part of the Rosice–Oslavany coalfield and focuses on the history of mining and energy supply.

The Železná stezka trail leads from Domašov over a reconstructed historic bridge towards Šmelcovna. Šmelcovna is located in the vicinity northeast of Domašov in the Bílý potok valley.

Culture

The present Baroque appearance of Domašov parish church dates from 1765; the parish church is classified as a listed monument. The present-day parish house in Domašov dates from 1782.

The Fortna – domek ponocného is located in the grounds of St. Lawrence Church in Domašov. The present administrative and residential building of the Rajhrad Benedictine estate bears the name Zámeček in Domašov and dates from 1720. On 10 August, a pilgrimage to St. Lawrence takes place in Domašov.

Nature

Domašov is surrounded by picturesque forests. The Domašovický potok flows through Domašov. A small water reservoir is located southeast of Domašov along the course of the Domašovický potok.

Domašov is served by IDS-JMK bus route 401 between Brno and Velká Bíteš. The local IDS-JMK bus route 410 connects Domašov with Javůrek, Rudka and Litostrov.
