Úsuší: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Úsuší combines local history with landscape features and marked trails.

History and architectural heritage

Úsuší was first mentioned in 1466. The chapel in Úsuší, dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, was built in 1882.

The Boží muka in Úsuší are finely designed Neoclassical stone wayside shrines with elaborate detailing. They are part of a remarkable regional ensemble representing a transitional type between Baroque wayside shrines and stone crosses.

Landscape and bodies of water

The Úsušský remízek is designated as a significant landscape feature. It is a small woodland surrounded by fields.

In the significant landscape feature Pod Čudánkou in the Tišnovsko region, ten seasonal cascade ponds with intermittent water flow were created along a seasonal stream.

Routes and connections

IDS JMK bus route 312 serves the Úsuší and Úsuší, Čížky stops.

The Deblín–Úsuší–Nelepeč–Žernůvka cycle route is described as a challenging off-road cycling route and runs along the Loučka River and the Závistka stream. A green-marked hiking trail leads via the summit areas of Pasník and Loučský vrch to Úsuší.

In Úsuší, the route reconnects with a marked cycle route and continues downhill to Čížky. The route can be shortened from Úsuší to Nelepeč via a marked cycle route.
