Landscape

The Ždánka cycle route offers a direct combination of the surrounding landscape and physical activity. It runs along a former railway line, is 9 kilometres long and is ridden there and back. Its surface is smoothly asphalted, the route is predominantly flat and is also suitable for small children, as well as for scooters and inline skating. The Ždánka route in Dražůvky also features a replica railway stop with an exhibition.

History

The history of Dražůvky also includes the fact that a church stood here in the 14th century. The religious monuments of Dražůvky also include a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk.

The town of Dražovice has its own distinct historical traces: historic Dražovice was situated on an old trade route and had the right to levy tolls on the adjacent Hungarian Road. Markets were held in medieval Dražovice.

Culture

Several buildings and customs bring the local history vividly to life. The chapel with a bell tower in Dražůvky was built in 1892 by Prince Jan of Liechtenstein. The Chapel of Saint Anne was restored in 2016. Traditional Hody celebrations take place in Dražůvky every year in August.

The costume rental service in Dražůvky exclusively offers traditional costumes historically associated with the “severní hanácké Slovácko” region. These costumes can be rented by residents of Dražůvky and other municipalities.
