Nature and landscape

The Rakovecké stráně a údolí bledulí nature reserve is located in the municipality of Bukovinka. The area protects old forests consisting predominantly of deciduous trees, as well as extensively managed meadows. Bukovinka is a good starting point for excursions to the nearby Moravian Karst.

Bus route 157 connects Vyškov, Bukovinka, Bukovina and Křtiny.

Cycling and hiking trails

The marked cycling routes around Bukovinka run mainly along paved forest roads and are therefore also suitable for families with children. Bukovinka is a suitable starting point and destination for cycling tours through the Moravian Karst. The Cesta S. K. Neumanna hiking trail begins at the crossroads near the church in Bukovinka and leads via Křtiny through the Moravian Karst to Bílovice.

The filial Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Bukovinka was built in 1773. When entering Bukovinka from the direction of Račice along the main road, you will see a small chapel by the road.
