Bořetice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Kravihorská tourist trail is primarily intended for hiking and is also easy to cycle. In addition, the 30-kilometre Modré Hory cycling and hiking trail connects Bořetice with Kobylí, Němčičky, Velké Pavlovice and Vrbice.

Hiking and cycling

A notable attraction is the Kraví hora lookout tower, a 15-metre-high wooden tower. From there, visitors can enjoy views of the wine-growing villages.

Wine and culture

Local winemakers open the wine cellars beneath Kraví hora to residents and tourists. The Pod Kraví Horou wine cellars comprise around 260 cellars. The family wine cellar of Vinařství Hempl offers individually tailored guided wine tastings.

A distinctive part of the local culture is the satirical Republic of Kraví hora, founded in 2000, which organises wine exhibitions.

History and festivals

The Church of Saint Anne in Bořetice was restored in 1680. It is a Baroque church dating from the first quarter of the 18th century.

The Anenská pilgrimage takes place in Bořetice on the last Sunday in July. The hody festivities are celebrated on the first Sunday in August.

Nature

The Zázmoníky Nature Reserve is located on the northern edge of the cadastral area of Bořetice.
