Přítluky: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Přítluky lies at the foot of Přítlucká hora and in one of the most valuable remaining floodplain areas of the Křivé jezero National Nature Reserve. The reserve comprises floodplain meadows, softwood willow and poplar floodplain forests, and hardwood floodplain forests. It is an important breeding area for birds of prey: white-tailed eagles breed there irregularly, while red kites breed more regularly. The Křivé jezero National Nature Reserve must not be entered, as there is no marked route leading into the reserve and a period of tranquillity must be ensured to protect rare nesting birds.

Nature

A yellow-marked hiking trail connects Přítluky directly with the Maják lookout tower on Přítlucká hora. The tower has been open to the public again since 1 September 2025 following repairs. From there, views extend over Pálava, the Nové Mlýny reservoirs, the Lednice-Valtice area, and the distant Alps.

Water

The lower Nové Mlýny reservoir, in the cadastral area of Nové Mlýny in the municipality of Přítluky, is used for sport fishing and provides opportunities for tourism and recreation.

Culture

The Church of St Margaret in Přítluky dates from 1784 and has a Gothic core. Four early Baroque statues protected as cultural monuments stand beside the church: St John of Nepomuk, St Wendelin, the Holy Trinity, and St Florian. Nové Mlýny continues to be visited by descendants of the Hutterites from all over the world, particularly from England and America.

Routes

The marked Velkopavlovická wine trail runs through Přítluky along the route from Šakvice via Zaječí, Přítluky, Rakvice, Podivín, and Velké Bílovice. The recommended Petra Bezruče cycling route runs through Přítluky and, on this section, connects Lednice, Bulhary, Přítluky, and Zaječí.

Event

The Otevřené sklepy Přítluky event takes place every year at the beginning of July. Free wine tastings are offered in the wine cellars.
