Zvotoky: Holiday Apartments and Houses

Within the built-up area of Zvotoky, two small streams meet; some sections run through culverts. North of Zvotoky, on Mount Tyterec, there is a former granite quarry where a special type of blue granite was extracted and which is now flooded. In addition to these landscape features, remnants of historic field patterns have been preserved in Zvotoky.

Culture and History

On the village green in Zvotoky stand the Chapel of the Guardian Angels, which dates from the late 18th century, and a memorial to the fallen. Several historic crosses in Zvotoky date mainly from the 19th century.

The Hůrecká svatyně is a group of stones on Hůrka Hill southeast of Zvotoky. It served both a ritual and an astronomical-calendar function.

Paths and Connections

A green-marked hiking trail runs through Zvotoky. Cycle Route No. 1066 passes through Zvotoky and continues to Hoslovice. In addition, Cycle Route No. 1069 follows the route of Road III/17014 between Hoslovice and Horažďovice. Local bus services operate in the Zvotoky area.
