Milonovice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The so-called Panský dům is considered a successor building to the Gothic-Renaissance fortress in Miloňovice. It is assumed that the rectangular building acquired its present floor plan in the 17th century and was extensively remodeled and raised by one storey around 1910.

Culture

The Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary stands in the upper part of the village green in Miloňovice. It dates from the first half of the 19th century and has a volute gable and a belfry with an onion-shaped roof. In front of the chapel stands a stone cross dated 1864.

Near the exit from Miloňovice, north of the Panský dům, stands the late Renaissance rectangular barn. Today, it is the most distinctive surviving remnant of the farmyard at the former fortress.

Miloňovice is home to a former inn built by Jakub Bursa; the inn is named as one of Jakub Bursa's buildings.

Trails

A yellow-marked hiking trail passes through Miloňovice. As part of a described route, the trail runs from Sudkovice via Miloňovice and Zadní Ptákovice back to Strakonice.
