Kváskovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Kváskovice combines medieval origins with an exceptionally valuable, well-preserved ensemble of vernacular architecture typical of the central Podšumaví region. In addition, there are small religious buildings, gently rolling countryside, and specific destinations for cultural experiences and cycling trips.

Culture and History

The chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk stands in Kváskovice village square. The Chapel of the Virgin Mary dates from the mid-19th century and stands on the outskirts of Kváskovice, on the road to Paračov. The medieval origins of the village and the preserved ensemble of vernacular architecture give the place a clearly recognizable historical character.

Landscape and Cycle Route

Kváskovice lies in gently rolling countryside. Cycle Route No. 1072 runs through the village; overall, it leads between Čepřovice and Sudoměř. This means that a cycle connection extending beyond the village is one of the specifically named features of Kváskovice.

Švecburg and Special Events

In 2007, Jan Švec built Švecburg on a hill above Kváskovice. The complex includes a chapel dedicated to Saint Hubert and is freely accessible.

The XXVI edition of the Pilgrimage Beer Run will take place in Kváskovice on 27 June 2026.
