Uzeničky: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Uzeničky is situated amid fields and meadows as well as forests and ponds. The renovated chapel in the village is dated to 1890. Together with marked cycling and hiking trails as well as historic sites, this creates a diverse picture of the rural surroundings.

Culture and history

Křikava is a small 14th-century castle on a small rocky outcrop above Černívsko Pond. It is protected by a moat on its eastern side. The Church of the Holy Trinity in Černívsko stands on the steep right bank of the local pond, next to an active cemetery surrounded by a stone wall. The church probably dates back to the 14th century and was remodelled in the Baroque style in the first third of the 18th century.

The former Uzeničky fortress was a three-storey building from the 14th century and was later converted into a granary. It is located on private property and is not freely accessible.

Getting around

Signposted cycle route 1063 passes through Bělčice and reaches Uzeničky. From Uzeničky, signposted cycle route 1062 continues towards Myštice.

The circular route to Křikava and the menhirs starts at the Church of the Holy Trinity, crosses the dam of Černívsko Pond and follows a green-marked hiking trail uphill for approximately 150 metres to the ruins of Křikava. The circular route is 4 km long, has an elevation gain of 42 metres and a stated duration of 1:08 hours. It is classified as not very difficult and is suitable for families with children, but not suitable for pushchairs.

Geographical location

Uzeničky is located on the road from Blatná to Březnice, approximately 4 km from Myštice. Public transport connections are limited exclusively to bus services to Blatná, Strakonice, Březnice, Příbram and Prague.
