Úlehle: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The history of Úlehle can be traced back to 1318 in written sources. Historical sources also refer to the place by the names Aulehle and Oulehle; in 1924, the municipality was renamed Úlehli.

Culture

In the municipality of Úlehle, the district of Švejcarova Lhota is home to a chapel from 1851 dedicated to Saint Adalbert. The Nihošovický potok flows through the district of Radkovice; there is also an old chapel there on the road towards Čestice.

Nature

From the 27 m viewing height of the Kbíl lookout tower, visitors can see Strakonice, Šumava, Boubín, Bobík, Libín, Kleť, Brdy and Temelín. Another prominent feature is the Kbíl dolmen: two erratic boulders support a stone slab that resembles a stone table. A yellow-marked hiking trail leads from the Pod Kbílem starting point to the dolmen. It is stable, allowing visitors to safely walk underneath it. The Úlehle, Švejcarova Lhota, rozc.3.0 bus stop is located directly at this starting point.

Geographical location

Mount Chlum is located in the vicinity of Úlehle. Nearby are Mlať Hill (Zahorčice u Volyně), Vejřice Hill (Nihošovice-Jetišov) and Hradiště Hill (Libětice). In the wider regional surroundings of Úlehle lies the ruin of the Radomysl Mediumwave Radio Mast.
