Přísečná is located in the Blanský les Protected Landscape Area. The cadastral area includes coniferous forests as well as the Vltava River, which is bordered there by individual rock walls.

Farming homesteads line the village square of Přísečná. It includes a park that was created around the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
History
Archaeological investigations in 1990 and 1999 confirmed prehistoric settlement in the Přísečná area during the Hallstatt and La Tène periods. The settlement of Přísečná already existed before the Cistercian monastery in Zlatá Koruna was founded in 1263.
Cultural and Architectural History
The former monastery farm at House No. 1 has living quarters dating from the 18th century, decorated with agricultural motifs. The former monastery farm later also acquired Rococo elements.

Sedm Špicí is a climbing area in a group of gneiss rocks in the immediate vicinity of Přísečná. The mountains of Kleť, Břevniště and Skalka are located in the surrounding area. The Vyhlídka [Přísečná] hill is nearby; Chlumany is an ancient site in the wider regional surroundings of Přísečná.
