Brloh: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
The Brložsko educational trail is a 7.2 km hiking trail with 16 stations and offers views of the Křemže Basin. Its circular route begins and ends in Brloh.
Hiking and Landscape
The PodKletí circular route begins and ends in Brloh, or alternatively in the settlement of Kuklov. The route offers an optional detour of approximately 0.5 km to the Celtic hillfort on Stržíšek.
In the vicinity of Brloh, Šimečkova stráň is a natural monument in the Blanský les Protected Landscape Area; serpentinite outcrops occur on the slope of the Křemže stream valley, and typical serpentinite vegetation is protected.
Culture and Crafts
Five tall Gothic windows remain from the former monastery church of St. Andrew in Kuklov. The Church of St. Simon and Judas in Brloh was founded around 1340 at the instigation of Peter of Rosenberg and rebuilt in the Baroque style between 1697 and 1704.
The traditional craft history of Brloh included the manufacture of footwear from beech wood. Traditional rural production in Brloh also included the manufacture of rakes and shovels. Flax was spun in Brloh during the winter; numerous weavers also wove linen fabric for Scherki.
The ruins of Kuklov Monastery have recently often been used as a wedding venue; anyone wishing to hold a wedding there should contact the registry office of the Brloh municipal office.
Sports Facilities
Volleyball, foot tennis, tennis, and beach volleyball can be played on the multi-purpose sports field. The Ski Klub ROHY had a ski lift; its operation had not yet begun in 2026 due to insufficient snow conditions.
Getting Around
Parking is available below the Church of St. Simon and Judas in Brloh. The church can be reached via Road II/143 between Planá u Českých Budějovic and Smědeč, as well as via Class III roads from Chvalšiny and Holašovice.
