Nebahovy: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
A specific natural feature of Nebahovy is the protected natural monument Pod Vyhlídkou: it lies in the cadastral area of Nebahovy, and the mountain snowbell (Soldanella montana) occurs there in several hundred specimens.
History
The first written mention of Nebahovy dates back to 1317. After Helfenburk Castle was founded, Nebahovy was placed under its administration. Graphite mining is also part of the village’s history: it ended after water penetrated the mines and was discontinued at a depth of 20 metres in February 1902 due to poor business and a lack of funds.
Events
The event known as the traditional “Pálení Husa” took place in a meadow above the Štuců lime tree, featuring a fire and an afternoon of games for children. The programme included an obstacle course for children, a labyrinth, face painting for children and air rifle shooting. Horse rides with horses from Jezdecký klub Jelemek were also offered.
Geographical Location
Mount Libín is located in the immediate vicinity of Nebahovy. Rohanovský vrch and Volovický vrch are also nearby. In the wider regional area are the ancient site of Chlumany and Mount Vrata.
Public Transport
The municipality of Nebahovy describes line 600 as its most important public transport connection.
