Lišov-Dolní Slověnice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
Lišov-Dolní Slověnice combines rural culture with historical insights.
Culture
The Gothic church of Saint Nicholas and Linhart in Dolní Slověnice, rebuilt in the Baroque style, is one of the most important cultural monuments in the area. This setting is complemented by harmonious village architecture featuring elements of folk architecture.
History
The upper floor of the former primary school in Dolní Slověnice houses the Četnická stanice and the Národopisné muzeum Dolní Slověnice. The two institutions illustrate life in the village and also include an old classroom.
The Četnická stanice presents uniforms, equipment and the everyday lives of law enforcement officers from various historical periods. It and the Národopisné muzeum Dolní Slověnice commemorate the Battle of Slověnice near Lomnice, which took place in the surrounding area in autumn 1618. Tours of the Četnická stanice are led by members of the association wearing historical uniforms.
Nature and trails
Swimming is possible at Rybník Dvořiště. The pond is part of the Rožmberská rybniční soustava cultural monument and is an important landscape feature with ecological, geomorphological or aesthetic value.
