Culture and History

The Chapel of Saint Ursula is a distinctive building on the northwestern edge of Křemže. The new church was built in the neo-Gothic style and consecrated on 23 October 1887. A Stations of the Cross with 14 stations dating from 1860 also originates from the original church.

Nature and Landscape

Dívčí Kámen is one of the largest and best-preserved medieval monuments in the Czech Republic. The Dívčí Kámen nature reserve protects a relict pine forest with lichens on a gneiss rock promontory, thermophilic plants, endangered insect species, and a breeding site of the eagle owl. The Dívčí Kámen nature reserve remains accessible to visitors.

Bořinka is a nature reserve with a mineral site. Holubovské hadce are characterised by flora and vegetation on serpentine rock.

Cycling Tours

Cycling Tour No. III “Kolem Kleti” begins at the market square of Křemže and ends after 24 km. Cycling Tour No. II “Svatý Vít v Habří” also begins at the market square; it ends after 18.5 km.

Event

Křemežský víkend is a traditional cultural and sales event with stalls operated by small local producers.
