Chmelná: Holiday Apartments and Houses

In winter, Chmelná offers two different sporting activities: The ski slope is suitable for beginners, experienced skiers and children. A 5.5 km cross-country ski trail has also been prepared in the area of the ski slope.

Nature

The Svatováclavský pramen spring rises in a quiet location in the forest. A statue of a kneeling girl stands at the Svatováclavský pramen spring. From Křemže, the Svatováclavský pramen spring can be reached via Chmelná and then uphill.

Culture and Trails

A chapel with a small bell tower stands in Chmelná’s village square. The official cycling excursion “Chmelenská hospoda” passes by the Svatováclavský pramen spring.

Landscape

Mount Skalka is located in the immediate vicinity of Chmelná. The mountains Kleť, Vrata and Břevniště are also located around Chmelná. The ancient site of Chlumany lies in the wider regional surroundings of Chmelná.

In the Blanský les Protected Landscape Area, natural forest communities have been preserved across large areas.
