Nature and Trails

The Kadovský viklan is located in a park next to the Kadov municipal office and has been a protected natural monument since 1985. The cycling routes around Kadov generally run along farm and forest connecting paths with water-bound, stony, or grass-covered surfaces.

History and Architectural Heritage

Stará tvrz was originally a wooden aristocratic residence surrounded by a moat. Two Renaissance gables have been preserved in the west wing of Stará tvrz.

The Gothic-Renaissance fortress in Kadov was converted into a granary in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Church and Chapel

The parish church of Saint Wenceslas in Kadov has Gothic origins and was remodeled in the late Baroque style. Its organ is a medium-sized late Baroque instrument.

The Neo-Gothic Chapel of the Finding of the Holy Cross stands in the cemetery near the church in Kadov and was built between 1856 and 1863.
