Zbůch: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
In Zbůch, sacred architecture, mining and leisure come together.
Culture and history
The Chapel of the Virgin Mary in the center of Zbůch is a late Baroque building that was probably constructed before 1850. In August 2003, it was declared a cultural monument. Services are held in the chapel throughout the year every Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
The Chapel of Saint Anne in Červený Újezd, which was merged with Zbůch in 1960, is also a late Baroque building. It probably dates from the first half of the 19th century and was declared a cultural monument in August 2003. Červený Újezd has preserved the medieval layout of its village square to this day.
The Mining Museum in Zbůch was expanded with an outdoor exhibition in 2021. Visitors can enter a representative mine passage there, featuring a true-to-life replica of a coal mine and the miners’ workplace. The exhibition comprises around 150 objects, most of which were donated by miners and people from the surrounding area.
Leisure
Zbůch’s disc golf course, ceremonially opened on May 6, 2024, comprises six holes. It is located in the forest park behind the V cihelně sports complex and is freely accessible to the public. Discs can be borrowed at the disc golf course.
