Brodeslavy: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The history of Brodeslavy dates back to 1144. At the same time, the cadastral area belongs to the Berounka Nature Park, whose protected landscape character is shaped by the deeply incised Berounka Valley and its tributaries, rock outcrops, adjoining forest complexes, and agricultural landscape.

History

Until the beginning of the Hussite Wars in 1419, Brodeslavy belonged to the property of the Plasy Cistercian monastery. In 1559, they became part of the Kaceřov estate of the influential Florián Gryspek.

At the center of the village stands a rectangular chapel dating from 1877 with two small turrets. The well-maintained and still-used cemetery is located outside the village on the road toward Bohy.

Landscape

The center of Brodeslavy also features a small pond and the Brodeslavský stream, which flows through the village. The local Kralovice III cycle route runs through the municipality.

Nearby are Homole [Kožlany - Dřevec], a hill; Bílý vrch [Kozojedy u Kralovic], a hill; and Na Chocholouši [Hlince], a hill. Svatý Martin, a church, is located in the vicinity of Brodeslavy.
