Kaceřov: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The castle in Kaceřov is a significant example of a Renaissance manor house in the Central European context. It was built by Florián Gryspek z Gryspachu between 1540 and 1552.

Nature and landscape

The Berounka Nature Park protects the preserved landscape character of the deeply incised valley of the Berounka and its tributaries. Its mission is to inform and educate the public about nature conservation and the historical development of the landscape. In addition, the Kaňonem Horní Berounky educational trail has nine stations, seven large information panels with photographs and three small information panels with photographs.

The Berdovna mountain and the Kosina hill [Hromnice] are located in the vicinity of Kaceřov. The Na Vartě hill [Hromnice-Chotiná] is located in the immediate vicinity of Kaceřov. In the wider regional surroundings are the ruins of Týřov and Radyně mountain.

Activities

The Nadryby–Liblín canoe route is 15 km long, takes four to five hours and includes four weirs. It passes through Kaceřovský mlýn, which is navigable, and past Kaceřov Castle.
