Robčice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Robčice have a long settlement history: the beginnings of settlement in the present-day village date back to the Neolithic period, and permanent settlement in the area has been documented since the Bronze Age. The oldest surviving written mention of Robčice dates from 1373.

History and Architectural Heritage

A notable historical feature is the chapel in Robčice. It was built in the second quarter of the 19th century and has a square ground plan with chamfered corners. Above it rises a pyramidal roof crowned by a roof turret with an onion-shaped dome.

Water and Landscape

The village pond in Robčice covers approximately 0.6 hectares and is a site of natural-history interest. It is fed by an unnamed stream that rises below the Vysoká forest complex and then continues to flow as the Robčický stream.

Paths and Landscape Features

The path from Robčice to Litice was created in 2015 along the route of a former hollow way. The hills of Kluk [Dobřany-Šlovice], Malinec [Útušice-Robčice] and Kotlík [Plzeň-Litice] are located in the immediate vicinity. The Radyně mountain is also located in the wider surroundings of Robčice.

The “Plzen Barholomaeus Cathedral” church is located in the surroundings of Robčice. The Svatý Martin church is also located in the wider region.

Summer Events

Summer concerts were held repeatedly at the Robčice open-air swimming pool from 2010 to 2023; a concert is scheduled there for 12 July 2025.
