Dolce: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Dolce lies at an elevation of 452 metres in a deep valley between the hills of Hůrka and Jindřín and the Dolecký Forest. To the southwest of the village lies the distinctive 535-metre-high Jindřín Hill.

History

Visible remnants of a former fortified hilltop settlement can still be found on Jindřín. The archaeological site on Jindřín has been protected as a cultural monument since 3 May 1958.

The present-day Chapel of Saint Anthony of Padua was built at the end of 1930 and fully completed in 1934.

The war memorial in Dolce commemorates 14 men from the village who did not return from the First World War. 26 June 1921 was set as the date for the delivery of the monument.

Paths and Water

The Čertovo břemeno educational trail is an approximately 15-kilometre circular route that can be completed by bicycle or on foot. The Chapel of Saint Hubertus in Dolcko Forest is the fifth and closest station of the Čertovo břemeno educational trail to the municipality of Dolce.

Since 2017, Dolcký Pond has served as a sport fishing pond for catching trophy fish and offers up to 50 fishing spots. Fishing there follows the “catch and release” principle.

Ing. Douděra sells his products directly at Anežčin Dvůr in Dolce on the first Saturday of every month from 3 to 5 p.m.
