Otěšice is situated in gently undulating terrain at the confluence of two streams and features vegetation typical of stream floodplains. The local cycle route CT 2185 also runs through the village.

Culture and history
The Chapel of Saint Adalbert in Otěšice is a brick building with a rectangular ground plan, a semicircular apse and lesenes at the corners; it is continuously being restored. A fortress in Otěšice is documented for the year 1495. A two-chamber timber log building stands at the front of farmhouse No. 2 in Otěšice. The former manor farm of Vojtěšice belonged to Count Eduard Pálffy of Erdöd.
