Mladý Smolivec: Holiday Apartments and Houses
The Formanská Trail between Starý Smolivec and Dožice connects several forms of transport: it is accessible for cycling, inline skating, running and walking, and can also be used for cross-country skiing in winter.
Nature and Trails
Three rest areas with tables, benches, bicycle racks and waste bins are available along the Formanská Trail. The route follows a path that served as an important country road for teamsters in the 16th and 17th centuries.
Protected areas also extend into the cadastral area of Mladý Smolivec: the Pod Štědrým Nature Park reaches it from the southwest, while the Brdy Protected Landscape Area (CHKO Brdy) extends partly into the northern tip of the cadastral area.
Culture and History
The Chapel of St. Lawrence, dating from 1887, stands in Mladý Smolivec. Budislavice is home to the early Gothic Church of St. Giles from the second half of the 13th century. Its furnishings include a Rococo high altar with a painting dating from 1859.
The Renaissance Church of the Archangel Michael stands in Dožice. It was built in the second half of the 16th century and extensively altered in the 19th century. The Baroque Starý Smolivec Chateau dates from the mid-18th century. Its ground floor formerly contained a small chapel dedicated to the Elevation of the Holy Cross.

The Všerubská Route of the Way of St. James also passes through Mladý Smolivec. It can be used by hikers travelling southwest from Prague.
For cycling trips, the marked Cycle Route 2168 is relevant: it runs south from Míšov towards Chloumek and is 19.3 km long in total.
