Černíkovice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Černíkovice has a long history: the first written mention of the village dates back to 1250. Černíkovice initially belonged to Plasy Monastery before Abbot Jakub of Plasy transferred the village to Mach in 1346. Around 1546, Černíkovice came into the possession of Florián Gryspek; in 1623, the village once again became the property of Plasy Monastery.

Culture

The Chapel of Saint Procopius was built in 1880 in the Na vršku district of Černíkovice. It has a semicircular apse and a small roof turret. After 1990, the chapel was renovated and reconsecrated; it is also listed as a cultural monument.

The Kollár association was part of local cultural life. It was founded on 20 May 1923 and staged 30 plays in Černíkovice and the surrounding area before it was dissolved on 14 March 1939.

Landscape

The landscape of the Kralovicko microregion is gently hilly and densely forested. It features a dense network of marked hiking trails and several educational trails. A blue-marked hiking route also runs through Černíkovice.

Near Černíkovice lies Homole, a small grove with a pond on a slightly elevated site that belongs to Dřevce. In clear weather, Homole offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The Všehrdský potok stream flows through Černíkovice and rises above the village.
