Pernarec: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

In Pernarec, the parish church of St. Nicholas and large farmsteads stand on the village square; near Horských Domky there is a Slavic ringwork site.

The Church of St. Nicholas was already a parish church in 1360 and is a single-nave late Gothic building. The parish church complex bears registration number 44714 /4-1489.

Culture and townscape

The village square of Pernarec is approximately rectangular in shape and is lined with large farmsteads with their gables facing the square. Pernarec is also home to historic farmstead No. 17, with a valuable three-part residential building. The “Boží muka” is a Baroque column from 1664 on a prismatic base with a broad cornice.

Traces of early history

Near Horských Domky there is an oval Slavic ringwork site dating from the 8th century AD. It is approximately 400 metres long and 350 metres wide.

Cycling route

The Šipín cycling route passes through Pernarec. It runs from Pernarec via Horské Domky along the Úterský stream to Šipín.
