Bílov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
The educational trail Stezka slovanských bohů is intended for cyclists and hikers; its final stop is in Bílov. Along this educational trail, depictions of Slavic gods created by students of the Plasy Grammar School can be seen. The explanatory content is based mainly on Josef Růžička’s book Slovanská mythologie, published in 1924.
Experiences
The educational trail Cesta jediného boha leads from Potvorov via Bílov and Červená hora to Mariánská Týnice. It is approximately 10 kilometres long and connects the Romanesque church in Potvorov with the Baroque building Mariánská Týnice. Its 15 information panels present aspects of Christianity. Blue-and-white squares mark the educational trail, which can be walked in both directions. The marked Baroko 1 cycle route can be reached immediately behind Bílov.
Culture
Bílov village square is lined with an avenue of almost one-hundred-year-old lime trees; two ponds lie in its centre. In Bor Forest, visible remains of a village destroyed during the Thirty Years’ War have been preserved to this day. In the direction of Červená hora lies a former Celtic burial site.
Geographical Location
Bílov is located one kilometre from the Plzeň–Most main road.
