Čerňovice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Čerňovice Nature Monument protects an oak grove on a rocky slope above the Mže River, where the stemless asphodeline grows. At the same time, Čerňovice is situated in the popular tourist valley of the Hracholusky Reservoir, which is considered a recreational destination in the surrounding landscape.

Nature

The Čerňovice Nature Monument is protected by law. It covers 0.1900 hectares and has a 0.1195-hectare protection zone. The cadastral area of Čerňovice is comparatively rich in forests; predominantly pine forests line a substantial part of its boundary.

In the Čerňovice Nature Monument, fires may only be lit with the prior consent of the nature conservation authority.

Water and landscape

In the vicinity of Čerňovice, the Josef Švamberk excursion boat offers cruises on the Hracholusky Reservoir. There is no marked hiking trail through Čerňovice.

Culture

The Chapel of the Holy Trinity in Čerňovice dates from 1936 and was reconstructed in 2009. Čerňovice is also home to a listed log house with stables dating from the early 19th century.
